Is this new product from Google the best thing since, well Google, or just another mash up for us to catch up with?

There are certainly some neat features.  Not all unique features, (I think the applause for the real time IM feature was undeserved – after all these guys were probably playing with basic IRC before Messenger brought instant messaging to broader audience) but they have certainly nicely bundled a whole bunch of cool tools into one neat platform, and presented them in the slick, forward thinking way that you would expect from the big G.

My advice?  Stay ahead of the Waveand keep your finger on the pulse so you don’t get left in it’s wake.  (All you folks who tutted blogging as just another fad and have since cried over your coffee everytime you hear the name John Cow will know what I’m talking about!)
